In addition to the Conference Programme, the 20th EU BC&E features thematic highlights with strong industry relevance. These are “conference-in-conference” events that fully address current “hot topics” in the biomass sector.

Complementary to the broad programme of the Conference sessions and special events, an event dedicated to the immediate future developments of biomass production and employment in the biomass industry in Italy is scheduled. Representatives of the bioenergy associations will discuss contributions and opinions of the main institutes, companies and industries which have demonstrated a particular commitment in the research and promotion of innovative systems and products in the biomass and bioenergy sector.
