EU BC&E Student Awards
On the occasion of the 20th EU BC&E which follows the success of the 19th EU BC&E and to encourage high-quality work amongst young researchers, the EU BC&E Students Awards will be delivered in recognition of the most remarkable and outstanding research work in the field of Biomass. The Scientific Committee may nominate up to 5 awardees, maximum one for each main Conference Subject.
In order to apply for the EU BC&E Student Awards applicants must:
- be officially matriculated students, including PhD students, at the date of 30 January 2012
- submit an extended abstract (one page abstract plus 3 explanatory pages) to the 20th EU BC&E via the On line Abstract Submission Form of this website by 30 January 2012
- upload in addition to the abstract a letter of recommendation stating the name of the applicant and the institution where the research work is supervised, confirming that the applicant is an officially matriculated student at this institution. Recommendations should include a report of one A4 page that outlines how the research work will make an outstanding contribution to the discipline and what the specific contribution of the applicant is. The report can only be made by a student's supervisor(s) or head of department.
